Between your fourth and fifth month comes the most anticipated part of becoming a Full Sail University student, besides graduation—Project Launch Box. Upon receipt of you notice of the arrival of this much anticipated box, most students, myself included, waited impatiently for the FedEx truck to arrive, like a child at Christmas Eve resisting sleep.
As eager as children enthusiastically ripping the gift wrapper off their presents, it is important to take your time to open your package. Sometimes, there is more than one box. It is best to wait until all your boxes arrive before opening them up. Equally important would be to individually open each box and check off every item and annotate any missing or damaged items. When you have successfully laid out all the contents of your Project Launch Box and cross-referenced and checked your packing list at least twice, then call FSO-Support to inform them that you received your equipment and if there are any missing equipment.
If have not received your email notification or your Launch Box and you are nearing the end of your fourth month or already in your first core class that requires Project Launch Box hardware and software, please contact FSO as soon as possible. Otherwise, inform you class instructor and inquire about installing the software you need in your personal computer while you wait for your Launch Box delivery.
Also, checking your email for any software required for your class as it should provide you with the license number needed to run and use the computer program. One of the first email notices I received contained instructions to create an account on Full Sails Online software store , and to download Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
